Our standard coverage at J&A Rentals is

- $2,000,000 3rd Party Liability

- $1000 Collision Deductible

- $300 Comprehensive Deductible

We also offer the option to lower the collision deductible down to $500 or raise the deductible to $2500 if you plan on using credit card insurance.

Other rental car companies may increase the deductible to the maximum ($2500) to lower up front fees, however, from our experience at J&A, the coverage we have chosen makes sure you are not under-insured.

We are a fully licensed rental car company with the City of Richmond and with the Vehicle Motor Safety Board of BC and we always make sure you are fully covered with the right insurance.

If you are staying in Vancouver for a few months a year, don't want to spend the money on purchasing and maintaining a vehicle while you are out of town. We are the most economical way to drive a luxury car in Vancouver!

At J&A, 90% of our fleet is brand new and the majority of our vehicles are under 10,000KM in odometer.

So while prices may be similar comparing across rental companies, we consistently cycle out our fleet every 6-8 months to guarantee the best quality rental/drive for you!

The majority of rental car companies keep their vehicles for 40,000-80,000KM in odometer. Some rental car companies are still renting cars with 100,000+ in odometer. You cannot be sure that service was properly maintained during the lifespan of the vehicle.

Why is it important that the car is low odometer and newer?

- Since the vehicle is fresh, you don't have to worry about previous drivers, whether the maintenance was done properly, if you have a good brand of tires on the vehicle

- If you go on a long road-trip, out on a business trip, or just taking a relaxing vacation with your family, you don't want to experience of having the vehicle malfunction or break down in the middle of your trip.

- All new vehicles from Mercedes/Porsche come with Continental/Michelin Tires

Our pick up location is at our office beside the Aberdeen Skytrain Station in Richmond. This is our google location.

We also provide delivery service, it is 30$ to YVR Airport and 50$ for greater Vancouver. Please book ahead for deliveries so we can properly accommodate your request.

We value transparency and do not charge any extra fees. All prices quoted are including tax and insurance unless otherwise specified. When you rent with J&A Rentals you can be assured that there won't be a bunch of extra add on/penalties that other big box rental car companies often have.

We do charge an security deposit during the duration of the rental, but this amount is fully refundable at the end of the rental.

Our office hours is 9am-6pm, but we do rental's around the clock. We often do deliver vehicles as late as 11-12pm. The main reason our office hours are set as such is because our partnered insurance broker is only open from 10am to 6pm. As long as you let us know prior, we can get the insurance ready for you and accommodate your schedule!

We have over 40 cars in our fleet, making us one of the largest small business rental car companies in Vancouver. We will always have a vehicle available so we can accommodate immediate rental needs.

To have the widest selection, we recommend booking at least a month in advance, so you can have full selection of all our cars, but we generally always have a car available ready to go.

We strictly prohibit smoking in all our cars, in the case of smoking/vaping in the vehicle, a penalty will be incurred up to $1000 for cleaning of the vehicle.

We prohibit any of the vehicles to be used off road. We have GPS tracking on all our vehicles and in the case we discover the vehicle has been used off road, the security deposit may be forfeit.
